Flooring Warranty

Our engineered timber flooring products are designed for long-term residential performance when installed, maintained, and used in accordance with BUXA HOMES technical guidelines.

Residential Coverage

Warranty coverage applies to residential indoor applications installed according to BUXA HOMES installation guidelines.

Installation Compliance

Flooring must be installed using approved methods, moisture protection, and substrate preparation requirements.

Environmental Conditions

Indoor environments should maintain stable humidity and temperature conditions for optimal flooring performance.

Maintenance Requirements

Proper cleaning, care, and maintenance procedures are required to maintain warranty eligibility.

Warranty Conditions

Approved Installation

Flooring must be installed according to the BUXA HOMES Installation Guide including:

  • Subfloor preparation
  • Expansion gaps
  • Moisture testing
  • Approved underlay systems
  • Floating or glue-down methods

Indoor Environmental Control

Flooring performance depends on stable environmental conditions:

  • Indoor temperature: 18–24°C
  • Relative humidity below 70%
  • Avoid excessive moisture exposure
  • Protect from prolonged direct sunlight
Warranty Exclusions

Improper Installation

Damage caused by incorrect installation methods, inadequate expansion gaps, or unsuitable substrates is not covered.

Moisture & Water Damage

Flooding, standing water, excessive humidity, leaks, or wet-area misuse are excluded from warranty coverage.

Physical Damage

Scratches, dents, pet damage, furniture marks, impact damage, and misuse are not considered manufacturing defects.

Improper Maintenance

Use of steam mops, abrasive tools, harsh chemicals, or improper cleaning methods may void warranty coverage.

NATURAL MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS

Timber is a natural material.

Variations in grain, knots, colour, texture, mineral streaks, and natural movement are inherent characteristics of engineered timber flooring and are not considered manufacturing defects.
